About
I grew up in Nepal reading newspapers and fell in love with how words could shape what people believed. That curiosity took me through national newsrooms in Kathmandu, into a master's program in mass communication at Texas Tech University in Texas, and eventually into the administrative core of a university in Baltimore.
My career has never followed a single track. I have written for national audiences, taught communication to undergraduates, coordinated mental health events, and managed the budgets and logistics of two academic departments simultaneously. What connects all of it is a belief that clear, thoughtful communication is the difference between an organization that drifts and one that moves with intention.
Based in Arlington, Virginia, I bring a bilingual perspective rooted in journalism, sharpened in higher education, and grounded in the real work of keeping institutions running well.
Good communication is never accidental. It requires clarity, empathy, and a genuine understanding of the people you are trying to reach.

Translation is never just linguistic. Moving between English and Nepali means navigating two different ways of framing reality, and I have learned to love the space between them.
Beyond the Job Title
United States Youth Council (USYC)
Selected as one of 50 council members from 2,250 applicants to contribute to a national initiative against media misinformation in Nepal. One of the experiences that sharpened my conviction that communication carries real civic responsibility.
Media School Nepal Germany (MSNG)
Produced a podcast through a cultural exchange with Jade Hochschule in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. An early lesson in how audio, story, and cross-cultural collaboration intersect in ways that written language often cannot.
